These are the rules that we feel like we needed to put emphasis on over the last few months with character interaction and roleplaying. As an RP-centric group, we feel that this was very necessary due to things we have noticed during our RP events, so please ensure that you are not doing any of the following.
New rules will also be put up on this page, so ensure to read them!
General Rules
This group is rated PG-13.
This rating is subject to changing as the group plot progresses. But mature deviations, sexual content, gore, or any triggering material are not allowed in the official galleries or chats.
Posting mature content outside the official group gallery is alright, just not within the group’s public place.
Respect both admins and fellow members alike.
Do not be rude or disrespectful to anyone. Treat people with due respect and care! The mods have zero tolerance for any of the following:
Bullying / Harassment.
Slurs and degrading comments.
Bashing on an event, member, or an admin.
Forced shipping or aggressive thirsting.
Aggressive or passive-aggressive behavior.
Do not bring drama into the group.
With the above points being said, we will tolerate no drama occurring in the group. If you have a problem with someone, please try to resolve it privately with them. Mods’ DMs are always open and if you have problem with someone, we will try our best to keep you apart.
Do not spread gossip and try to hurt others. If someone did something to wrong you or the group, again let us know we will try to help resolve it. If you feel that it is a personal matter, DM the Mod team.
If you or your friend want to bash on someone, say something harmful, or throw salt, think twice.
If someone is harassing you in the group chats, let the admins know immediately with provided receipts.
You can be removed from the group for starting or provoking drama, so keep these in mind.
Any member guilty of this behavior will be given two (2) strikes only..
Do not force ships and make people uncomfortable.
We cannot stress this enough, but please do not make people uncomfortable by aggressively pining for their character to be with yours. We’re all familiar with ‘thirst’ and have it, but we would like to see relationships grow more naturally and not by force.
Please phase your relationships nicely and without pressure. The Alpha Rampaca is not afraid to fight you in the name of love.
Ships are great, just don’t force someone else’s character to love yours without their consent.
Your solo art and written works must be produced by you.
It’s normal to ask your friends for feedbacks, advices, and ideas, but make sure you put everything into shape with your own effort. Don’t make a friend write for your unlock summary or draw your character app revamp for you.
If you have any questions, please post in the questions channel or DM the mod team, and we will try our best to answer you asap.
If it’s regarding your character’s history, you may DM Chise or Lazu for help.
Chatroom Rules
Avoid uncomfortable and triggering topics.
We’d like for everyone to be comfortable, so please don’t bring up triggering topics such as rape, sex, abuse, and so on.
Give everyone a chance to speak.
Please don’t ignore members and try to exclude other people. Let everyone say their piece if they want to. Also try to get others to talk about themselves/their characters as well, don’t hog all the attention for yourself.
Please keep the chat PG-13 as well!
Do not bring in mature content in the chats. The members are of various ages and may not be comfortable with mature topics, so please keep those out of the public chats.
However, you are free to do whatever in PM or private chats.
No. Drama.
This is very important. Do not create unnecessary tension or hatred by throwing salt or hurtful remarks at other people. It’s ok to be upset, but remember that the actions and words you display have a consequence. Even if you’re not in a good mood, please think against dragging everyone else down with you.
Not only does this ruin the group’s atmosphere and fun, but it also causes a divide between members.
Friendly banters are alright! We acknowledge that these will be had and should be separated from mean and insulting conversations about someone. It’s fun to tease each other once in awhile, but make sure that you don’t cross any lines or go overboard.
If you are unhappy about something in the group, please discuss it with the admins. That would be more productive than throwing salt and being passive aggressive.
Anyone who provokes others and causes drama in the public chat will be given the following:
Non-members/prospective applicants will only be given one (1) warning. Keep this in mind, especially if you plan to apply in the future because this will severely affect your chances. In other words, display yourself to be a provoking person who likes to stir drama, and you will not be accepted in the group and will be banned from the public chats.
Members will be given two (2) warnings. If you do something wrong, we will send you a note and warn you. Reach the second strike, and you will be removed from the group and banned.
This also applies in other public platforms. Harass someone on twitter or tumblr? We’ll know eventually. It’s not that hard to treat others with respect, so please tread carefully.
That being said, if a current member or applicant harasses you in any platform (chat or social media), please send us a word with screenshots as proof and we will try to help the best we can.
Metagaming
CAPITAL OFFENSE. AVOID AT ALL COST.
Please ALWAYS remember to separate your OOC and IC knowledge, especially in terms of information that your character should have no means of knowing whatsoever unless they obtained said information through official acts.
Make sure these are confirmed between muns or, if they contain plot heavy contents, with the mods. Don’t take liberty of thinking your character has any access to them unless they are approved by the moderators, and most importantly, the founder!
We’d like everyone to avoid the excuse of blaming your own lack of memory capacity about what you remember for yourself and for your OC. If you are aware of this problem, please take it upon yourself to find a way in keeping track of what your OC should know and shouldn’t. Make a list or a document for your own personal notes, anything that works best for you. Try not to rely on others to keep track of your OC for you, they should be your own responsibility!
Check, re-check, and confirm! Ask questions if you aren’t sure about a new information. It’s never wrong to ask for confirmation or validation for these matters in order to avoid breaching the rule against metagaming. We mean it when we say this can be a serious offense if you choose to ignore its weight, so rather than being scared or shy, it’s best that you ask us than choosing to thread on thin line.
Automodding
Please avoid asking the mun of another OC for a permission to auto their character’s actions.
Only ever automod another character if the mun initiated the act of giving you the permission without being asked.
We understand that sometimes others are fine with being asked to give the permission, but we find that it will encourage people to continue asking for said permission. We notice that some members are shy or can be rather scared of saying no, and we would like to avoid them feeling pressured to giving the permission when they are actually not comfortable with the idea.
If you are close with the mun of the OC, we will try to be lenient if you are to tell us that you have received the permission from your friend privately, provided with a receipt. However, should a report reach us upon saying that the mun have been pressured in any way or have not actually given a permission for you to mod their character, then we will swiftly take action.
Automodding someone else’s OC in any other conditions is a violation to the rule against automodding.
We would like automodding to be kept to a minimum. Only pass on the modding of your OC to another if you absolutely cannot afford to respond with your character in terms of need.
No automodding during important moments of the event when the character is the focus of the interaction. We’d like you to genuinely write the response of your character with your own judgment: it is possibly a very crucial development point for them.
When automodding an OC for another mun, try to generalize their action so you can avoid having to act out the character to personal levels.
Tracing/Heavy Referencing/Bases
Please always keep in mind that tracing and basing from sources that comes from something other than your own art or tools is against the group’s rules from the very start. These must be avoided at all cost!
Referencing sources and materials you use is fine, but please make sure you credit the source you found them from.
Please note that we discourage heavy referencing poses, designs, or a whole composition drawn by another artist. Memes are exceptions.
Drawing your characters in outfits, poses, or parody scenes from an anime and other existing mediums is fine, as long as you do not trace over them and always credit.
Illustrations that use bases provided from others who offer the material for free must not be submitted into the group for points, otherwise you may share them for your own pleasure.
When drawing a pose from a reference or 3D model, do recreate it with your own capability and avoid tracing over them at all cost.
We will allow tracing over photos, materials and models for backgrounds and complex objects for your illustration. Please don’t forget to credit the resources if they do not personally belong to you (for eg. if you use programs like sketchup or stock photos).
Violation of the rule against tracing will result in immediate kick and permanent ban from the group.
Violation for Metagaming, Automodding, Heavy Referencing will be given strikes. After getting 2 strikes for any of the actions above, you will be kicked and banned from the group permanently.
Character Consistency
As RP moderators, we would like to remind everyone that your character consistency is very important to their individual developments, as well as for the group’s plot. If your character keeps changing without a consistent alignment to their traits, it would render their future growth useless, and worst of all for yourself and for others: confusing.
While you may be having a problem in trying to rp your OC the way they are now, it doesn’t mean they will remain that way forever. However, try to wait until something significant actually leaves that impact on them.
This change does not always have to occur dramatically. People can change gradually through the experiences they slowly learn in life, and the same can go with your OC. Even a mundane daily life exchanges could have the possibility of being eye openers sometimes.
The point: if your OC does go through a transformation in personality, make sure to back it up with a reasonable influence. Make their change something you will be able to nod to in acknowledgement, instead of something to brag about pulling it out of thin air.
Rerolling
Starting Fall, we will be limiting the frequency of rerolling. Rerolls will now correlate with your Creativity stats while still making use of the dice cookies bought from the store.
You can now only reroll once per turn!
For more information on how they will be used, please refer to the Battle System sheet.
Try to keep in mind about the value of rerolling for your character. We would like to advise you to refrain of being greedy and wanting to keep your character perfect with nearly no failures. There’s a reason why everyone’s stats increase as they rank up, and the battle system narrows their failure rate according to their status perimeter.
